The UK based international charity-the MMBF Trust (Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund) has been providing a fresh lease of life and hope to aspiring filmmakers, actors or any person in the field of performing arts. Kick started by the dynamic young lad, Matthew C. Martino, the charity has shown a commendable success.
Inspired by the success, the Trust has been growing their areas of work with increased projects. In 2016, the Trust has launched the Matthew Martino Innovators Fundwhich geared into actionon February 14th as per the custom of the Trust. From the first day the fund has started accepting applications from people struggling in the creative field to mark a niche for themselves.
The much esteemed filmmaker and the film producer, Paul Knight would be heading and overseeing the activities of the fund which would provide 10 individuals or groups with a financial aid of £250 to help them get the launch pad to initiate their creative projects.
Be it a film or a dance project, music video or even photography artists and collectives, the fund has its door opened for all those associated with the creative field. Paul feels it would help many achieve and realize their dreams beyond the imagination and possible comprehension- Believe, Achieve, Succeed!
This MMBF Trust -funded opportunity provides 10 groups or individuals with £250 to help kick-start their creative projects. In the past MMBF Trust has funded everything from dance and film projects to music videos and photography collectives. Whatever creative field you work in, we’ll consider your application.
The MMBF (Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund) is a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers, actors and individuals studying or working in performing arts worldwide through training grants and scholarships, funding for first time filmmakers and provides sponsorship for film related events such as film festivals and film award ceremonies. We also support aviation students and aspiring pilots with support towards their fees costs, training material and medical costs.
